ASSESSMENT

I provide psychological assessments to adults 18+ via telehealth.  Assessments are available in these 43 United States.  I do not accept insurance for assessments (Unfortunately!), but I aim to offer more accessible rates (Up to 50%-60% reduced) than most other providers.

What We
Offer

Combined Autism/ADHD Assessment

This is, by far, my most requested assessment service — and for good reason. Autism and ADHD frequently co-occur and share overlapping traits, and many people find themselves wondering which one (or both) explains their experience. A combined assessment allows for a fuller, more accurate picture rather than looking at each in isolation.

My approach to assessment is neuroaffirming, meaning the goal is understanding and self-knowledge rather than pathologizing difference. I specialize in working with high-masking individuals, as well as those who present in atypical or non-stereotypical ways — people who may have "flown under the radar" for years, been misdiagnosed, or been told they didn't "look" autistic or ADHD enough to warrant a closer look. This includes many adults, especially women and BIPOC, who developed sophisticated coping strategies that obscured their traits from others (and sometimes from themselves).

ADHD Assessment

I offer comprehensive assessments for ADHD, using an approach that is affirming and centers understanding over pathology. ADHD can look different from person to person, and I specialize in working with individuals who present in atypical or non-stereotypical ways — including those who are high-masking or have spent years developing coping strategies that helped them keep up, hold things together, or meet expectations, often at significant personal cost.

Many of my clients come to assessment later in life, often after a long road of trying to understand themselves. Maybe you've always been called "smart but scattered," and you're tired of that being the whole explanation. Maybe you've been in therapy for years, addressing anxiety or perfectionism, but nothing quite explains the exhaustion of holding it all together behind the scenes. Or maybe you've always assumed ADHD "isn't your thing" because you don't match the stereotype — you're not hyperactive, you did fine in school, or you've been managing so well that no one, including yourself, ever thought to look closer.

Whatever brought you here, my goal is to offer a thorough, respectful evaluation that honors your lived experience and gives you clarity — whatever the outcome.

Autism Assessment

I offer comprehensive assessments for autism, using an approach that is affirming and centers understanding over pathology. Autism can present in many different ways, and I specialize in working with individuals who present in atypical or non-stereotypical ways — including those who are high-masking or have developed strategies over time that helped them blend in, cope, or meet expectations, often at significant personal cost.

Many of my clients come to assessment later in life, often after a long road of trying to understand themselves. Maybe you were diagnosed with ADHD years ago, but something still feels unexplained — like there's another piece of the puzzle that hasn't quite clicked into place. Maybe you've been in therapy for years, working hard, and still feel stuck in ways that don't fully make sense. Or maybe you've spent your whole life sensing that you experience the world differently than the people around you, without ever having language for why.

Whatever brought you here, my goal is to offer a thorough, respectful evaluation that honors your lived experience and gives you clarity — whatever the outcome.

Gender Affirming Care Assessment & Letter of Support

I provide assessments and letters of support for individuals seeking gender-affirming medical care, including hormone therapy and surgical procedures. My approach is affirming, collaborative, and rooted in respect for your own understanding of who you are — the goal of this process is to support your care, not to gatekeep or question your identity.

I know that navigating the requirements for letters of support can feel like an added burden on top of an already personal and sometimes vulnerable process. My aim is to make this part as straightforward and respectful as possible, working efficiently while still taking the time to understand your history and needs. I'm familiar with WPATH Standards of Care guidelines and the documentation requirements many providers and insurance companies require, and I'll work with you to make sure your letter meets those needs.

Investment: $300-$500, depending on type of medical care requested and time needed to write letter

I have been struggling for such a long time and I was so stressed about getting assessed.  I had let so many people in my life know that I thought I might be autistic and/or ADHD but so many people had said no I'm probably not because I have friends, I'm able to hold a job and so on and so forth, I figured a psychologist would probably tell me the same thing and that I'm just lazy or not trying hard enough.  And then when I finally got myself to start looking, I couldn't find anyone I could afford.  I found a few people who quoted me $6000 to get assessed for both ADHD and autism and one person quoted me $7500!  Thank goodness I found [Lauren].  I felt so validated, seen, and understood. And now having this report and getting the diagnoses I feel I can finally start moving forward with a clear understanding of what's going on and work on getting accommodations.
